Sandoll Cloud's first open call has begun. Titled [My Favorite One Letter 2], the project invites participants to choose a single Hangul character, infuse it with personal emotion, and express it through lettering. It is also an experiment in exploring one’s own perspective and sensibility through the smallest possible unit.
The decision to limit submissions to a single syllable was intentional. By narrowing the form, more can be revealed. Winning entries from this open call will enter into an IP licensing agreement with Sandoll Cloud and be brought to life as a range of goods in collaboration with the lifestyle brand Festiver. A piece of work becomes a product; appreciation leads to purchase; and creators receive compensation in return. Some members of the audience who witness this process may find themselves inspired—and return not as viewers, but as creators.
