AI content platform company Sandoll (CEO Youngho Yun) announced the launch of a mobile font based on the popular web novel IP Illusion Hunter From Another World through a collaboration with content platform company RIDI
This collaboration marks the industry's first case of expanding an IP collaboration category within Sandoll’s mobile font platform Bakey from webtoons into the web novel sector. Sandoll previously introduced a mobile font based on the Kakao Webtoon IP Dust Ball Jjangdeok, and through its partnership with RIDI, is now extending its IP collaboration lineup to web novel fandoms as well.
Illusion Hunter From Another World is a fantasy web novel exclusively serialized on RIDI and has surpassed 50 million cumulative views since publication. The title won the Fantasy Grand Prize at the RIDI Awards for two consecutive years in 2023 and 2024. Its webtoon adaptation has also maintained a top-ranking position within its category.
Sandoll developed ‘Iam Illusion Hunter From Another World’ by incorporating the unique fantasy and otherworldly atmosphere of the original work. As mobile fonts increasingly serve not only as typography but also as digital merchandise that allows fans to experience their favorite content IPs in everyday life, the company embedded the novel’s worldbuilding and symbolic elements throughout the font to strengthen fan engagement.
The font features a Hidden Dingbat function, which displays visual elements such as planets and extraterrestrial creatures from the story while typing.
