Sandoll, a leading content creator platform company (CEO: Young ho Yun), announced on August 14 that it has achieved its highest-ever half-year performance in the first half of 2025, driven by the full-scale adoption of AI technology.
According to the consolidated earnings report disclosed on August 14, Sandoll posted revenue of approximately KRW 10 billion and operating profit of around KRW 2.9 billion in the first half of 2025. This represents a year-over-year increase of 50.3% in revenue and 528.6% in operating profit. The results mark the first time that performance from Sandoll’s AI-driven new businesses has been fully reflected, signaling a turning point into a new phase of growth.
The strong results were fueled by ▲the growth of new AI-powered services ▲the rapid growth of subsidiary VIVITREE ▲and the success of trend-driven font planning, bolstered by synergy from the acquisition of Yoon Design.
VIVITREE, Sandoll’s subsidiary, recorded significant year-over-year growth in its generative AI business. In the second half of the year, the company plans to enhance its technology and expand its product lineup to solidify its position as a creative AI company serving both professional designers and general users.
In June, Sandoll signed a strategic business agreement with LG CNS to expand into the global design platform business based on generative AI. The two companies are jointly developing personalized content creation and design automation solutions, aiming for launch in the second half of 2025.
The first half also saw increased demand for horror-style fonts, goods, and mobile thumbnail fonts, driven by the global success of the Netflix K-content series K-Pop Demon Hunters. Leveraging its agile font planning and customization capabilities, Sandoll successfully captured this demand, contributing positively to platform-based revenue growth.
Building on these results, Sandoll plans to accelerate diversification of its AI-based revenue models and global expansion through ▲the launch of AI design tools ▲the enhancement of personalized font recommendation services ▲and the introduction of new AI-powered services.
CEO Youngho Yun said, “Since the beginning of this year, practical AI technologies—such as AI-powered search and recommendation, and AI image generation services—have been transforming user experiences. In the second half, we will accelerate our growth by rolling out AI-based services and expanding technology-driven new businesses.”
