AI content platform company Sandoll Co., Ltd. (CEO Youngho Yun) announced its financial results for the first quarter of 2026.
Sandoll recorded KRW 4.1 billion in separate revenue and KRW 1.8 billion in operating profit for the first quarter. This represents year-on-year growth of 15% and 59%, respectively.
The strong performance was driven by the continued stable growth of SandollCloud’s subscription-based services, combined with increasing demand for fonts amid the expansion of AI-based content creation environments.
In particular, Sandoll achieved positive earnings growth by continuously enhancing its platform business, improving operational efficiency, and advancing services optimized for AI content creation environments.
As generative AI and digital content markets continue to expand, the use of fonts throughout the content creation process is rapidly increasing. In response to these market changes, Sandoll has been strengthening its platform competitiveness and continuously expanding services optimized for AI-driven content creation workflows.
Sandoll recently introduced ‘Font Playground,’ an AI-powered service that enables users to create various lettering styles directly. The company also operates ‘Sandoll Canvas,’ a service that allows users to generate designs simply by entering text and instantly edit the generated results.
Through these services, Sandoll is building an environment where users can create high-quality designs using a wide range of fonts, further strengthening its competitiveness in AI-based content creation.
As a result, the company’s core business competitiveness has led to growing platform demand and continued stable revenue growth.
On a consolidated basis, first-quarter revenue reached approximately KRW 5.3 billion, maintaining growth compared to the same period last year. Although operating profit declined 7% year-on-year due to base effects related to subsidiary performance, the growth momentum and profitability improvement of Sandoll’s core platform business remained stable on a separate basis.
Sandoll continues to strengthen its stable revenue structure and core business competitiveness by accelerating its transition from a traditional font provider into a platform-centered company responding to the expanding AI content market.
A Sandoll representative stated, “As AI-based content environments continue to expand, the importance of fonts is becoming even greater. Sandoll will continue pursuing structural transformation in response to the growing AI content market based on its platform and technology competitiveness, while strengthening mid- to long-term growth foundations through global expansion and new business initiatives.”
