- Mobile entertainment font platform Bakey records a 4x increase in Thai users month-on-month
- Joint booth with digital stationery platform WeBerding at the Bangkok Illustration Fair – expanding local partnerships
- Using Thailand as a base, Sandoll aims to drive the growth of entertainment fonts across Southeast Asia

Content creator company Sandoll Inc. announced on the 27th that its mobile entertainment font platform Bakey participated in the Bangkok Illustration Fair 2025, held at CentralWorld in Bangkok from October 23 to 26.
This marked Bakey’s first overseas exhibition since its rebranding, receiving strong positive reactions from local visitors. The participation was part of Sandoll’s broader strategy to accelerate its expansion into Asian markets and strengthen local partnerships.
Bakey is positioning Thailand and other major Asian countries as key strategic markets, where messenger-based communication and demand for entertainment fonts are rapidly growing.
During the fair, the Bakey booth welcomed around 1,500 visitors, including illustrators, designers, and students. Following the event, the number of Thai users increased fourfold compared to the previous month, demonstrating the tangible impact of the brand’s rebranding.
Visitors shared enthusiastic feedback, saying “I downloaded Bakey and loved how the fonts look on my device,” and “The fonts are beautiful — I’m excited to see what comes next.” Such reactions underscore Bakey’s growing brand awareness and user satisfaction in the Thai market.
Bakey participated in the event alongside the digital stationery platform WeBerding, which offers a variety of digital stationery content such as planners, notebooks, stickers, and brushes for tablet writing app users. Together, the two brands showcased their shared vision of expanding the creator ecosystem by merging fonts and digital stationery content.
Following the exhibition, the two companies plan to pursue mid- to long-term collaboration targeting the Thai market.
They will co-host a Thai-language font discount event later this year to provide tangible benefits to local Bakey users, and will also co-develop localized font and template lineups in collaboration with Thai artists to reflect local culture and aesthetics.
Through these initiatives, Bakey and WeBerding aim to go beyond a one-time exhibition and build a sustainable global business model connected to the local creator ecosystem.
A Bakey spokesperson stated,
“In Thailand, the MZ generation—centered around social media and messenger platforms—is rapidly growing, with strong emotional expression and a high interest in fonts.
Bakey’s design sensibility and service experience have resonated well with this audience. Going forward, we’ll continue to enhance our localized strategies based on user data from each market, and evolve into a global platform that connects content, creators, and brands through mobile entertainment fonts.”
Sandoll added that it plans to accelerate Bakey’s global IP business expansion and localization strategy following the Bangkok Illustration Fair.
The company aims to broaden platform penetration, launch multilingual font packages, and strengthen its B2B licensing business across Thailand and other key Southeast Asian markets.
