Sandoll (CEO Young-ho Yun), a content creator platform company, announced on the 8th (Friday) that it will hold special online and offline events to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its font platform, Sandoll Cloud.
The event, held under the slogan “Beyond Visibility to Distinction,” is designed to share the platform's major achievements and service experiences from the past 10 years while offering various events and benefits to bring unique enjoyment to its customers.
Since its launch in 2014 as Korea’s first subscription-based font platform, Sandoll Cloud has become Korea's largest font platform, supporting 16 character sets and 280 languages, with around 1.5 million cumulative members. Recently, its global footprint has strengthened with a growing number of overseas content partners and users.
The online event will be hosted on Sandoll Cloud’s website on a special 10th-anniversary page, featuring the “Create My Font List” event, where participants can select and use up to 10 fonts free for three months. Participants are encouraged to share their personalized font combinations, and the top three font lists, determined by votes, will win free font usage vouchers for both the list creators and voters. This event will run through the end of the year, with winners announced on January 7th of the next year.
In addition, Sandoll Cloud customers can participate in the “Sandoll Cloud Font Relay,” where one free font will be available to try for one month each week over an 8-week period. To celebrate the last decade, key milestones and insightful data have been presented in an infographic, with fun statistics such as the longest-standing customer, who has used Sandoll Cloud for 3,863 days, and a customer currently using 280 fonts.
Additionally, real testimonials from various Sandoll Cloud customers will be shared to highlight the platform’s value once more.
The offline event will take place from the 13th (Wednesday) to the 17th (Sunday) at the Seoul Design Festival at COEX in Gangnam, Seoul.
At the Sandoll Cloud booth, visitors can purchase 10 popular fonts along with limited-edition 10th-anniversary merchandise at special prices. Visitors can also take part in a mini-card-making experience, using Sandoll Cloud fonts to create items such as frame toppers, talismans, and “deskteterior” accessories (a blend of "desk" and "interior"). During the event, those who visit and check in at the booth will also receive commemorative sticker merchandise as a special keepsake.
