AI content platform company Sandoll (CEO Youngho Yun) announced that on April 22, it carried out a Cheonggyecheon harmful plant removal volunteer activity with employee participation to commemorate Earth Day.

Following last year’s initiative, Sandoll once again joined environmental cleanup efforts at Cheonggyecheon this year, continuing its social contribution activities aimed at improving local communities and protecting urban ecosystems.

On April 22, Sandoll employees gathered at Cheonggyecheon Ecological School for a preliminary training session related to the volunteer program before conducting harmful plant removal activities in the lower Cheonggyecheon area and surrounding ecological protection zones.

The volunteer activity was organized to reflect on the meaning of Earth Day and promote the protection of nature within the city. It focused on removing ecosystem-disrupting plants that had spread throughout the Cheonggyecheon area. Sandoll employees directly participated in clearing harmful plants growing along the stream, contributing to community improvement and ecosystem preservation.

A Sandoll representative said, “Sandoll connects people and the world through fonts, and we continue to put our philosophy of ‘creating a beautiful world’ into action through various social contribution activities. We will continue to drive positive change through ongoing efforts for local communities and the environment, while further strengthening ESG management that expands social and environmental value.”

In addition to these environmental initiatives, Sandoll is also enhancing the efficiency and scalability of the design industry by building AI-based production systems that improve creative workflows. The company is also promoting various projects to advance the aesthetic and technological development of letters and languages centered on Hangul, while expanding the distribution and appreciation of Korean language culture.

In particular, through Sandoll Cultural Foundation, the company continues to carry out public-interest projects such as Hangul development programs and Hangul cultural archiving initiatives, while actively promoting the beauty and value of Hangul. These efforts are part of Sandoll’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and the expansion of cultural ESG values.

The Sandoll Cultural Foundation also organizes the Saisiot Conference, hosted by Sandoll. Leveraging Sandoll’s typography expertise and creative support experience, the event contributes to strengthening the competitiveness of the visual design industry and enhancing creative environments for designers. Through this platform, the foundation actively expands exchanges with domestic and international designers while promoting the excellence of Hangul fonts and K-design to the global market.
