Sandoll Co., Ltd., an AI content platform company (CEO Youngho Yun), and the Sandoll Cultural Foundation announced that they have signed a trilateral Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Seoul Design Foundation to strengthen the global competitiveness of K-design.

The agreement was signed on April 15 at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in Seoul, attended by key representatives including Youngho Yun, CEO of Sandoll; the Director of the Sandoll Cultural Foundation; and the CEO of the Seoul Design Foundation. The partnership was established as part of efforts to enhance K-design competitiveness and expand a practice-oriented design ecosystem.

Through this collaboration, Sandoll and the Sandoll Cultural Foundation will co-host the “Sandoll Saisiot 2026 Conference for Working Designers” with the Seoul Design Foundation during Seoul Design Week 2026, scheduled to take place this October.

The conference will be centered on type design and will encompass all areas of design—including product, fashion, and graphic design—providing practical insights and sharing global design trends. It aims to strengthen the global competitiveness of K-design while expanding practice-oriented design discourse and collaborative ecosystems.

Leveraging its deep expertise in typography—one of the core elements of visual design—Sandoll will enhance the practical value of the conference. As an AI content platform company built on fonts, Sandoll is also advancing designers’ creative environments by developing AI-driven production systems that improve efficiency and scalability across content creation, thereby strengthening the overall productivity and expansion of the design industry.

Based on these capabilities and experience, Sandoll plans to further reinforce its role as a key partner in strengthening K-design competitiveness, presenting future directions for designers’ working environments and driving innovation across the industry.

Meanwhile, the Sandoll Cultural Foundation will share the unique aesthetic and cultural potential of Hangul with designers both domestically and internationally, expanding design discourse beyond type design into broader creative domains.

Youngho Yun, CEO of Sandoll, stated, “Through close collaboration with the Seoul Design Foundation, we aim to share in-depth, practical insights from the field with industry professionals. The synergy between Sandoll’s content planning capabilities and the Foundation’s strong network will help deliver meaningful discourse to a wider audience.”

The CEO of the Seoul Design Foundation added, “Through collaboration with Sandoll and the Sandoll Cultural Foundation, Seoul Design Week will serve as a platform to enhance the global competitiveness of K-design. We will continue to strengthen partnerships with companies to expand Seoul as a city that fosters the future design ecosystem.”

Meanwhile, Seoul Design Week 2026 will be held for 12 days from October 14 to 25 across DDP and various locations throughout Seoul, featuring a wide range of programs including design conferences, exhibitions, markets, and citizen participation initiatives.
