KFA Gothic

To reflect the brand essence of the Korea Football Association (KFA) through typography, we applied a distinctive design feature: only the right end of each horizontal stroke is cut at a diagonal. This subtle yet deliberate choice gives the text a sense of forward momentum, visually reinforcing the dynamic and progressive spirit of KFA.

The long and narrow rectangular proportions of the emblem are echoed in the font’s character width, creating a visual link between the typeface and the logo. This condensed width evokes a modern and agile feel, as opposed to the stable and classic impression of wider typefaces.

The high contrast between horizontal and vertical strokes mirrors the strong visual impact found in the KFA emblem. This contrast adds a sophisticated and dignified tone to the letterforms, echoing the poised and powerful expression of a tiger.
