Creative content platform company sandoll (CEO Young-ho Yun) announced on the 18th that it has signed a business agreement with Techville Education Co., Ltd. and is stepping forward to promote the Korean language culture by encouraging font usage in public education nationwide.


Starting with this agreement, sandoll will actively support the free provision of fonts to members of Techville Education's teacher support platforms such as 'Teacher Village Training Center,' 'Teacher Neighborhood,' and 'Classmaker' to enable diverse use of digital fonts in educational materials such as lectures and teaching materials in the public education sector. Additionally, sandoll plans to help teachers and students form a correct understanding of font copyright and convey the importance of the Korean language.


Fonts are provided through sandoll 's platform 'sandoll Cloud' via cloud service, allowing users to freely use more than 700 fonts without worrying about copyright issues.


Techville Education plans to encourage participation in sandoll's 'Font Safe School' campaign targeting kindergarten, elementary, and middle school teachers and students nationwide and actively recommend the use of sandoll fonts. Moreover, it plans to actively cooperate in the composition and operation of sandoll's ongoing 'Teacher Advisory Group' by identifying AI technology partnerships and developing sandoll Cloud font utilization cases as content.


Young-ho Yun, CEO of sandoll, stated, "Many students and educational staff in domestic elementary and middle schools are missing opportunities to expand their creativity due to concerns about complex copyright disputes over fonts." He added, "Through this agreement, we will help ensure that fonts can be used safely and freely in public education nationwide without worries about copyright lawsuits, and contribute to strengthening public education by introducing new services suitable for the education field in collaboration with Techville Education."


CEO of Techville Education, expressed his pleasure at signing the business agreement with sandoll, stating, "We are delighted to sign a business agreement with sandoll, the first font company in Korea." He added, "We will support teachers to produce various teaching contents using fonts without copyright concerns through the sandoll Cloud service, and plan to pursue AI technology partnerships with sandoll."


Meanwhile, since 2019, sandoll has been conducting the 'Font Safe School' campaign targeting elementary and middle schools nationwide to ensure safe font usage without copyright worries. This campaign has become a representative social contribution model, reflecting corporate philosophy such as the development of Korean culture and the pursuit of public interest.
