Sandoll, represented by CEO Young-ho Yun, announced that they would hold the "My Favorite Hangul" exhibition with 100 creators to commemorate the 577th Hangul Day. This exhibition, aimed at expanding the foundation of the content ecosystem through collaboration among creators, seeks to support various attempts to change the content industry through Hangul.
The exhibition features approximately 100 creators, including illustrators such as Quaya, Asheng, Kim Daye, and Gomajju; graphic designers such as Kwon Jun-ho, Jeon Chae-ri, Kim Young-sun, Choi Ji-woong, and John Coba; and type designers such as Park Boomi, Kim Jin-hee, Lee Noeul, Lee Soo-hyun, and Kang In-gu.
Participating creators choose their favorite Hangul characters and express them through Hangul lettering, reimagining the form of Hangul characters and offering an experience of the infinite expansion of the Hangul script.
This exhibition is accessible both online and offline. The online exhibition can be viewed through a separate webpage, while the offline exhibition takes place at the Hangul Gallery on the basement 2nd floor of the Sejong Cultural Center until October 15, free of charge.
A Sandoll spokesperson stated, "As Korea's first digital font company, Sandoll has a deep affection for Hangul. Here, 'Hangul' symbolizes freedom of expression beyond its meaning as a mere character."
