Sandoll, a leading creator content platform (CEOs: Seok Geum-ho, Young-ho Yun), is pursuing a sustainable growth strategy leveraging its content IP. Sandoll announced on the 6th that it has reinterpreted the popular Sandoll pixel fonts from 17 years ago, presenting the "SD Pixel" series, redesigned for modern sensibilities.

The Sandoll "SD Pixel" series was originally introduced as web fonts in the early 2000s and gained popularity when font sales services started on platforms like Cyworld in 2006, serving as a means for individuals to express their personality.

Sandoll has restored and processed pixel fonts in line with the recent Y2K trend, releasing a total of 10 fonts imbued with late-century sentimentality. The series includes fonts such as SD Pixel Note, SD Pixel Secret Note, SD Pixel Good Morning, SD Pixel Good Night, SD Pixel Ding Dong Ding, SD Pixel Petite Princess, SD Pixel Apple Tree, SD Pixel Island, SD Pixel Magic Wand, and SD Pixel Paper Crane.

Notably, the SD Pixel Note and SD Pixel Secret Note fonts are available for mobile use. iOS users can purchase them through the Sandoll Cloud mobile app, while Android users can find them on the Galaxy Store. Users can apply the fonts on messengers like KakaoTalk and other mobile services.

To coincide with the release of the "SD Pixel" series, Sandoll is offering free digital goods reflecting late-century sentimentality, including KakaoTalk themes and Y2K Instagram filters. KakaoTalk themes can be downloaded from Sandoll's blog (blog.naver.com/sandollcomm), while the Instagram filters will be distributed through Sandoll's Instagram account (sandoll.otf).

A Sandoll spokesperson stated, "IP content can be utilized in various ways. In line with the retro trend, we decided to restore fonts and present them in pixel style to create new value from our font IP." They added, "Sandoll will continue to focus on developing and expanding IP tailored to users' needs, striving to provide better services."
