Content creator platform company Sandoll (CEO Young-ho Yun)  announced on the 14th (Monday) that the '2024 Sandoll SaiSiot: Type Conference,' held at Spigen HQ in Gangnam, Seoul on Saturday the 12th, concluded successfully.


The conference featured a program that catered not only to industry professionals but also to the general public interested in fonts and design, generating significant interest. Early-bird tickets sold out within just three days.


The theme of SaiSiot 2024 was “How Fonts Change the World,” with sessions exploring the influence of fonts on branding, communication, and culture as a whole. The event attracted over 200 participants, who engaged in in-depth discussions about the present and future of font design.


Key industry experts participated, including Koh Hyun-sun, leader of Toss's Graphic Design Team, Han Myung-soo, CCO of Woowa Brothers, and professionals from Interbrand and Everyday Practice. They shared insights on how fonts contribute to modern business and design, drawing from their own experiences.


Sandoll also unveiled its new body text font, “SD Minburi,” for the first time, sharing details of its development process. Attendees expressed high expectations for the font's potential use across various media and multilingual environments.
